This race stands out in the mountain biking world as the only one-day event covering such a long distance: 140 km with 7,000 metres of ascent.
In 2010 the race had just 1 finisher out of 600 riders, earning it the title of the hardest race in the world! The event has become a major fixture, both locally and in the mountain biking community.
