IS THE HOTEL CLOSED AT ANY TIME OF YEAR?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc welcomes you every year in the centre of Megève for the winter season, from December to March. Les Fermes de Marie is also open in the autumn.

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc is an iconic historic landmark in Megève. Opened in 1913 and taken over by the Sibuet family in 1992, it was nicknamed the "21st arrondissement of Paris" by Jean Cocteau. This chic, timeless hotel was the setting for Roger Vadim's legendary film Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Today, it continues to charm guests with its elegance and exceptional hospitality.

In terms of amenities, all rooms feature a TV, free Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth speaker, a safe, Pure Altitude toiletries, a hairdryer, a minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a kettle and hospitality tray with a selection of teas and herbal infusions. The Hôtel Mont-Blanc is closed in autumn. However, you can stay at Les Fermes de Marie during the All Saints' holidays and every autumn weekend, to make the most of Megève in this season.

No, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc is closed in summer.

WHAT INFORMATION WILL I BE ASKED FOR WHEN BOOKING?

When booking your stay at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, we will ask for the following information: first and last name, postal address, email, mobile number, and the first and last names of the other guests. A credit card will also be required for payment of the deposit, where applicable.

HOW DO I GET THE BEST RATE GUARANTEED?

To benefit from the best rate guaranteed, book directly on our official website or call our reservations centre on +33 4 50 21 06 84. You will save up to €40 compared with third-party sites such as Booking.com or Hotels.com.

WHAT GUARANTEES DO YOU REQUIRE FOR A BOOKING?

To confirm your booking at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, a deposit of 50% or 100% of the total amount will be requested, depending on the rate chosen. The balance of the stay is due 14 or 30 days before your arrival (depending on the period). The deposit can be paid by credit card (3D Secure payment) or bank transfer.

UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?

If you wish to cancel your booking at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc:

• For a flexible rate, any cancellation more than 30 days before arrival will be refunded in full. For a cancellation less than 30 days before arrival, the deposit already paid will be retained.
• In the event of a same-day cancellation, the deposit will be retained and the remaining 50% will be charged.

HOW MUCH IS THE TOURIST TAX?

The tourist tax at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc is €2.60 per day per adult.

DOES THE HOTEL OFFER FAMILY OR INTERCONNECTING ROOMS?

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE PARKING? IS THERE A CHARGE?

Located in the very heart of Megève, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc does not have private parking, but a valet service is available from 8am to 10pm. Once you have dropped your luggage at the hotel, the valet will park your car for €30 per day.

HOW TO GET TO THE HÔTEL MONT-BLANC

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc is located in the centre of Megève. Directions:

• From Sallanches or Combloux: continue on the RN 212 towards Albertville. At the 1st roundabout at the entrance to Megève, go straight on to the 2nd roundabout, then take the 3rd exit towards the Post Office. After about 200m, turn left to enter the pedestrian zone.
• From Albertville or Praz-sur-Arly: at the entrance to Megève, at the 1st roundabout, take the 2nd right towards the town centre, continue to the 2nd roundabout, then take the 1st right towards the Post Office. After about 200m, turn left to enter the pedestrian zone.

DO YOU HAVE A SHUTTLE FROM GENEVA AIRPORT OR STATION TO THE HÔTEL MONT-BLANC?

IS THE CENTRE OF MEGÈVE FAR FROM THE HOTEL?

No, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc is ideally located right in the centre of Megève, a stone's throw from the village square. It is the perfect place to enjoy local events such as the Christmas tree lighting, the show jumping, the jazz festival, Toquicimes and many more.

HOW FAR ARE THE SKI SLOPES?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc is perfectly located for your snow holidays. The Caboche gondola, offering direct access to the slopes, is just behind the hotel. You will have access to the vast Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, with more than 400 km of pistes for all levels, linking Megève with other renowned resorts such as Saint-Gervais, Combloux and Les Contamines.

WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

On arrival at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc, check-in is from 4pm. If you arrive before 4pm, we invite you to relax in our tea room, Le George. After your journey, enjoy a moment of rest by the fireplace, comfortably settled in one of the lounge armchairs. On departure, check-out is by noon at the latest. If this time is not respected, an additional night will be charged.

IS A LATE CHECK-OUT POSSIBLE?

A late check-out may be offered subject to availability. Before your departure, ask at reception whether this option is available.

IS RECEPTION OPEN 24 HOURS?

To guarantee a tailor-made stay, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc has a reception open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ready to meet all your requests at any time.

Our rooms are not certified as accessible. In addition, our staff are trained to welcome and assist guests with disabilities.

A special moment each morning, breakfast at the Hôtel Mont-Blanc is served in the Gérard Philippe lounge every day from 7.30am to 10.30am.

In the heart of Megève, our champagne bar, Le George, welcomes you every day from 10am to 10.30pm, whether for a homemade hot chocolate, a homemade pastry or a glass of champagne.

WHAT ARE THE SPA OPENING HOURS?

Discover the Hôtel Mont-Blanc's Spa Pure Altitude mountain spa in the centre of Megève. The wellness area is open from 8am to 9pm. For treatments, we take bookings from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 3pm to 8pm.

WHAT FACILITIES DOES YOUR SPA HAVE?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc wellness area includes a heated indoor pool with counter-current swimming, a jacuzzi and a sauna. These facilities are perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Megève.

WHAT TREATMENTS ARE OFFERED AT THE SPA?

The Spa Pure Altitude offers a full range of mountain-inspired treatments:

• Signature Massages: discover relaxing and energising massages such as the Rituel Énergétique des Alpes or the Hot Stone Massage, designed to soothe body and mind.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE SPA?

CAN NON-RESIDENTS USE THE SPA AND POOL?

The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are reserved exclusively for hotel guests. However, non-residents can access the Spa Pure Altitude facilities by booking a Day Spa, which includes a treatment and access to the wellness area.

DO I NEED TO BOOK A MASSAGE?

We strongly recommend booking your treatment at the Spa Pure Altitude in advance, especially during school holidays, to secure your preferred time slot.

HOW DO I BOOK A SPA TREATMENT?

DO YOU HAVE A HAIR SALON IN THE HOTEL?

The Hôtel Mont-Blanc does not have an on-site hair salon. However, Les Fermes de Marie, also part of the Maisons & Hôtels Sibuet group, has a Leonor Greyl hair salon in Megève. To book an appointment, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc reception is at your disposal.
